Breeding Chocobo and Leveling Red Mage

I'm trying fraps on another computer to see if I can get some pictures. Anyways the pass few days I've been playing my Red Mage, working on my Chocobo, and doing some fishing. Right now my Red Mage is 17 hope to get it close to 19 by tomorrow. I also Breeded my two chocobos for a new egg. My male Black Chocobo and Yellow female Chocobo. I hope to get a Green or Red Chocobo female, but I understand it is only 30% chance for a color Chocobo. Anyways I'll upload the pictures of my Chocobo and me leveling soon if fraps works on this computer.

Slow Days

Nothing new and no pictures yet. I just check my folder where I store pictures but it looks like fraps didn't take any pictures at all. So I'm stuck with nothing. Anyways I got 2 merits on Wed and Thursday I got another 2merits. My total is currently 206, and with another merit I will add another upgrade to Tool Experise for my Ninja.

I'll probably level some low level jobs after that final merit for my Ninja like RDM or SAM. Until next post and I'll try to get some pictures up next time.

My Chocobo is Still Alive! and Merits

I took a few days to focus on my chocobo because he was pissed at me for not looking after it for like 2 months. After a few days he got a little better so I decided to get a party and see if I was rusty after awhile. It took like 2hours of seeking total to finally get a merit party. It was fun since I haven't played in awhile. I got 2 merits out of it and the party was pretty good with 7k of experience points an hour or so. That would bring my total merits at 202 I think.

I hope to party some more and maybe join a linkshell to do some end game stuff like dynamis, limbus, sea or sky. Anyways pictures to come later.

Woot Post!

Well after a 3 month break mostly because I burnt myself out on FFXI and also I got hooked on other games Vanguard, CC3, and Supreme Commander. I reactivated my account to check out FFXI again. Not sure I'll be playing as much, probably just wander around nude or something... o.O;

Anyways, updates are going to take an hour right now so I'll see you when I see you.

Small Update

Woot update! I'm taking a break right now. So I haven't played FFXI in like 2 weeks. I also sampled Vanguard and I'm hooked currently... o.O/

I'll probably pop on FFXI for a bit later on when new content comes on. Till then. (y o.o)y

Bad News

Well, I was in a good mood this week because of Kirin x2 and my chance to get a Osode. However things happened and we couldn't do Kirin and did Minis instead. Currently we have half our leadership inactive and half our members busy with real life. I'm pretty sure we won't be doing Kirin for awhile. We may even not be a LS with whats happening.

However, whatever happens it was a fun ride and I own a lot to the LS that helped me with getting items, Final WSs, missions, and money. Ironically this month marks the 1 year anniversary for me being a CK member. I was hoping for this month to be a happy one to mark my anniversary, unfortunately it could mark the end.

Late Night Merits, Ulli Again

Late night on Thursday I was too excited with Kirin next Thursday that I couldn't sleep so I got a late night merit party, which ended up with 3 merits for me putting my total to 199. I passed out when the party ended.

Friday because of the merit party last night I didn't play much cause I woke up in the afternoon, and I was busy with the baby mostly. Also when the baby was gone I overslept again during my nap and missed Dynamis... I was pissed about that because I wanted to try my luck on lotting for a 100coin.

Saturday I had a doctor's appointment so I missed half of sky farming. When I did log on, I headed over to Ulli to help with camping. After about a hour and a half he popped and we got claim! That's another Ulli for us and 2 more Kirins. After farming Rimmy setup a KS99 which turned out pretty nice. We killed the Behemoth version in KS99 twice, but we only got to open 1 of the chests out of the 2 runs because we ran out of time. It sucked because the first run we killed him but right when we did about 5 seconds later we were kicked out. The second run we killed him and it was smoother, but the drops were crap.

Sunday I got limbus, and tomorrow sea. Report back later.

Back to Sky

Nothing much went on this week for me because of real life stuff: work, baby sitting, and school. I haven't had much time for FFXI, but I did do some stuff. Mostly I have been catching up on merits before I start leveling on SAM. I got 9 merits this week so far, and I also got a Sorcerer's Ring from soloing bcnm 50s, I got 2m out of it which I needed for SAM stuff.

Today, Thursday was sky and I was excited because its been about a month. We kill one of each of the 4 minis, I didn't even know we got Ulli, but we got nice drops overall. Suzaku, dropped Suzaku's Sune-Ate[Deja], A.legs[Dao]. Seiryu dropped V.claw[Bank], W.hands[True], Seiryu's Sword[Soul]. Genbu dropped Genbu's Kabuto[Auto-Drop], A.head[Zylia]. Byakko dropped Byakko's Axe[forgot], Byakko's Haidate[Mori], D.haidate[Kyp]. I only wish I got my D.head or S.kote because it will be another month before I get a shot at them again. Anyways my merit total is at 195, I'm thinking of getting 10 more merits for NIN and 19 merits for RNG before starting on SAM.

Tomorrow is Dynamis in Xarcabard and Saturday is sky farming and a KS 99 if all goes well.

Almost Back to College

This week is the last week before going back to college, so I didn't do much. Wednesday was Limbus and because Aeron quit I don't have an Assault static on Wednesdays anymore. I'll probably look for a LS to do it with. Anyways Limbus was fun, but we got 21 people to show up so 3 people couldn't go.

Thursday we were to do Jorm if he was up or Minis, however we had a lack of people showing up and only 1 officer on so we went to camp Ulli instead with like 5 other groups/LSs. I on the other hand took the night off with fishing.

Friday was Dynamis with Limitless at Beaucedine. But before that I got a merit party and got 2 merits out of it bring my total of merits to 188. The Dynamis run was pretty good, we got decent drops with RDM, RNG, WHM, and a 100 coin drop. However the boss was pretty hairy, kinda shocked that we almost lost it.

Today was sky farming, however no officers and very few members were on at start of farming. However, they did a good job on going to sky and do some farming anyways. They got a SC and BBx2. I did fishing instead of sky while waiting for my brother to come and drop off the baby to babysit, then when the get back I'm going back to their place to help with the baby's room again. Anyways, tomorrow is Dynamis for PinCKs and Limbus for me. Monday I head back to college so I won't be playing much. Till next post.

Nothing Much

Nothing much happened the past few days because I haven't had much time to play. Friday I ran with Limitless for a bit, but I left after a hour because of my sister's birthday party. Saturday was sky farming but again it was more like Ulli farming, which he did not pop for us. Also it was a pretty low turnout again for sky farming, reason why I don't show up on time now a days. Sunday we skipped Limbus again and I didn't play much either because I capped EXP on RNG. I'm probably going to work on merits until I decided what to do for the majority of my free time on FFXI. Right now I'm think of either RDM, BLM, or SAM as the next job to 75 for me. Right now its SAM, but BLM would be interesting as my first mage job to 75.

Tomorrow is Limbus and Thursday I think is mini gods. Also college is coming up again for the spring semester, can't believe how fast winter break was because it seems like it only just started. Anyways, till next post.

Jormungand DEAD! World Serpent Slayers for CK. Ranger to 75!

WOOT! On Thursday we killed Jormungand! The days before though we pretty uneventful. We skipped sea/jailers on Monday, Tuesday though I hit 75 for Ranger, and Wednesday I didn't play much but I heard we skipped Limbus. This whole week though we have been camping Fafnir, we did mange to get a claim but wiped pretty quickly.

Anyways on to Thursday, the day we killed Jormungand. It took about an 1 hour to gather and set everyone up. We had some new people so the officers explained how we fight this and we were all psyched up for the fight. It took 2 tries to kill Jormungand, but at least we finally got the dragon down. The first try failed because we couldn't establish hate fast enough for our tanks. We were going through all the WHMs. Having them log on and off like crazy kinda messed us up. And we wiped around 90% however when we regrouped for a second try we got it down with more people that logged on (Dao, Pau, and Gun).

We slowly chip away the HP and balanced out the hate nicely with the tanks. I was pretty nervous and excited because I got to tank with Eulore setting down at his new place. It was fun though and it was a team effort. Soul and True did a great job with Nin/Drk, also the Mages (RDMs, SMNs, WHMs) in the main alliance did a great job on keep everyone alive, doing dmg to Jorm, keeping jorm debuffed, and keeping us buff. The CC alliance also did a wonderful job on keeping the mobs away from the main alliance. With the new position of the CC alliance the pulls were nice and quick. The fight took about 2 hours and it was well worth it with a new cool title and pride given to the entire linkshell for becoming World Serpent Slayers!

Tomorrow I don't think I'll be on much to play with my sister's birthday. But I'm sure Limitless with win Xarcabard again, and on Saturday we have sky farming. I'll add pictures when I get the chance. Good job CK!

Sunday

When the day started people gathered for the Bomb Queen event, I on the other hand took the time to do a back to back Besieged because I rarely get an EXP party on RNG. I'm now 32k to 75. After that I took a break before Limbus, but the others did Dynamis-Beaucedine restarting hope into giving PinCKs a new beginning. The welcome back to Dynamis was encouraging too with several AF dropping (RDM, THF, MNK, WAR, PLD, DRK) and 2 100coins. They all did that with 20 people all the way to the boss, but they didn't take out the boss.

Limbus started after Dynamis and we did Central Temenos 1st Floor with the Enchanted Dragon. It was fast as usual, and we got 2 coins each. I'm now at 38 coins total and need 37 coins for 75 coins for my brutal earring. After Limbus I did Assault with Sin and Soul. We did Counting Sheep 3 times getting 4k in assault points it was a nice day overall.

Tomorrow is Sea/Jailers, but I hope to get an EXP party before. Tuesday is free, but I may not be on. Till next post.

Sky, Ranger to 74, and Dynamis-Jeuno

Thursday we went up to sky to kill Olla x5 for our stock of Zippy drops we got. During that time we also got another water and we also had time to killed MG. After the small sky farming we killed Genbu x4 getting some nice items for our blms and melees alike. After sky we went to Behemoth for a few hours, but we didn't get claim.

Friday I got Ranger to 74 and 8k into 75 around 34k to 75. After that I headed to Jeuno to afk while to wait for Dynamis to start. We had a low turn out around 30 people, but I dont think we get many people during city runs. I could also tell why because not many people lotted for AF, most of the AF2 that dropped were for free lot. It was a good night for me though because I got RNG AF2 in free lot and MNK AF2 finally. I'm now 3/5 for MNK and 1/5 for RNG.

Today was sky farming, but it was Ulli farming really because we spent all the time at Ulli. And of course he didn't pop even when we had the entire area to ourselves for awhile. Later tonight is Fafnir and tomorrow is limbus. I'll cya you all later.

Ranger to 73 and Limbus

I got RNG to level 73 yesterday and I'm 13,000 to 74 right now. I hope to get 75 on ranger soon around next week or so making that my 4th 75 job. Tonight I did Limbus the North Tower and I got 3 coins out of it. I now have a total of 36 coins and I hope to get a brutal earring in a month or so. I'm running low on cash again so I'll be farming and NM camping again. Tomorrow is Fafnir because we will be short on people for Jorm or maybe some other HNM. On Friday is Dynamis at Jeuno I believe and Saturday is farming at sky.

The CK website has been going through some sort of upgrade so its been down for a bit, but its up right now probably going down again soon. I'll see you all later, and as you all may have seen I still haven't posted pictures since I been pretty lazy with it. Mayber later tonight I'll post the pictures. Till next update.

Happy New Year!

Hello everyone and Happy New Year to you. It just turned New Year for me about 33 mins or so ago and I thought I may as well do a the first post of 2007. Quick updates are my RNG hit 72 yesterday and I hope to get 73 soon. Sky farming on Saturday also went good, however, no Ulli for us because he popped before farming started. We still got Faust, SC, Zippy, and did BBx2. Later on today is Sea farming or I hope we will have farming/jailers. Tomorrow is a free day and Wednesday is Assault and Limbus. I hope to add some pictures later today to give this blog more color, until then later y'all.

Dynamis-Xarcabard Interloper

Today for Dynamis I did Xarcabard with Limitless. It was fun and in true Kaizen fashion they went through the area pretty fast. Several AFs droped: pld, blm, and smn. We also beat DL and he drop the mantle, the ring, and a 100coin. I was very impressed since we beat DL with only 33 people. Next week for Dynamis I think is Jeuno and tomorrow is sky farming.

Kirin x2

Today we did Kirin x2 because SE hates us... We had a server restart so Jorm wasn't up. However we got some good drops on Kirin, and since we had a good turnout around of 35 people it went pretty well. The first Kirin sucked for me, I lasted like a total of 30 seconds for the fight. However he droped our second w.legs (Anaeran) in awhile, a s.cloth (Enz), and a k.pole (Wak). The second Kirin was better for me because I lasted longer and I only died once. What droped was Osode (Rig)! I hope to try for my Osode soon, not sure if Kyp or Eulore wants to try for one themselves. In the meantime we need some more Ulli for Byakko seals. Tomorrow is Dynamis if nothing in real life turns up, Saturday is farming in sky, and I think we have Sunday off because its New Years eve. Anyways I'll cya you all in the new year or maybe sooner if I wanted to post another before the year ends.

Ranger to 71 and Limbus

With lots of free time on my hands I got to level 70 on RNG yesterday and 71 on RNG today. The EXP party I got in today was really good. I got about 37k in about 4 hours which is very good. RNG is going well and much faster than I thought it would go with the popularity of TP burn parties. However I do get bad ones every now and a than, but I'm trying to get 75 quickly on RNG so any EXP I can get is good toward my goal.

Limbus today was good, kinda cutting close at the end but otherwas nice. A good number of people showed up, 17 which is good and we did Northren Tower this time. I got 3 coins out of it putting my total at 30 coins, I need about 45 more for my brutal earring. My Assault static didn't get to run today because some people weren't on, so I'm thinking of running with a pickup group or maybe another ls static for some points. I would like to get more points so I can get some of the Assault gear for my RNG.

Tomorrow we try for Jorm again. We did well last time I heard, but at the end made a mistake and we couldn't kill Jorm. We hope to kill him tomorrow, which we stand a good chance at if we get a good turnout. Updated again tomorrow with the result of the battle with the Dragon.

Hello, small post to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!

End game stuff has been slow because of the Holiday, but should pick up a bit soon. For now I'm leveling my RNG which is 69 right now, hope to get it to 70 in a couple of days and 75 in 2 weeks or so.

Late Post

Since people were bugging me to update here it is! But since I don't really remember what happened since I'm so late I'll be guessing. Last Sunday was the final day for my CoP static with linkshell mates. I was late though because I was helping my brother with the baby room again. But I was able to get there and help them out with BC for 8-3 and 8-4. For 8-3 we were stuck on because we wiped 3 times. The first time was when Rubie was dual boxing SMN and NIN because I wasn't there. The second time I lasted like 30 seconds. The 3rd time I switched to MNK and we won! After that they did CS(s) and we started 8-4. We wiped the first time because the mages couldn't keep RR on. The second time though we won. Good job Fubar, was fun doing the missions with you guys from... like CoP 3-5 all the way to 8-4!

Last Monday was a server restart, so we camped some HNM, however we didn't claim anything mostly because we didn't have the man power on. We also skipped sea farming/jailers because of the same reason not enough people. I mostly leveled on my RNG and got level closer to 66.

Tuesday was a free day so I leveled on RNG for the day, I got 66 and almost half way to 67. After the EXP party I tried to seek again at night but got tired of waiting so I logged early for the night so I could try early morning on Wednesday for an exp party before Assault and Limbus. Wednesday morning I got a invite for my RNG quickly and got 67 and tried out my new toy O-bow. After the party I waited until Assault. We only did 3 runs because everyone needed to do something else before Limbus. Rimmy was put back into the static and we did the last LC missions for the quest to become a C. Limbus we did Central tower again and was easy didn't last long and I got 2 coins out of it. My total is now 27; 48 more until my Brutal Earring.

Thursday and most of Friday I missed because my DSL was down. When I logged on Friday Dynamis was about 1 hour and 30mins into the run so I just skipped it and got an EXP party for my RNG and I got 10k out of it and was about 7k until 68. From what I heard there we a few server restarts so the LS didn't do Jorm on Thursday but popped like 6 minis instead. I missed Seriyu which made me sad! But lucky for me people did Bonus farming and got: 4 Zippy, 2 Faust, 1 MG and 1 SC in 2 days. Not bad!

Saturday was sky farming, again it was a productive session with MGx2, Zippy, Faust. We camped Ulli mostly but again he didn't pop! Hopefully an off time crew will get him. Right now we need like 5 waters, 2 SC and 3 BB to complete our sets and of course Ulli! Christmas Eve today everyone and tomorrow Christmas! So everyone have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
