Friday WHM 72 and Dynamis Bastok #1, Saturday WHM 73 and 74

Friday I got an invite from Witch and Ice again; I have been partying with them lot since the low 60s. We did pretty good job with 35k exp gained or so, which gave more then enough for my level 72 on WHM. I could have gotten 73, but I had to do some things around the house before Dynamis so I had to end it after 4hours of exping.

At night I did Dynamis - Bastok with my new Dynamis LS, this was the second run I attend and the third run of the LS. It's a newly established LS, but its fun to do Dynamis again after a month and a half off of Dynamis. I also know a few people in the shell so its more fun then normal because you play with people you know. I didn't need any AF2 in Bastok, but lots dropped that night (drg x3, sam, blm, drk, smn, bst, thf, pld) and we won easily with very few deaths. I see the LS doing well in the future if we have 5 regular BLMs to show up at every run it would be smooth sailing for LS. So far the shell is working nicely, reminds me of the time when I joined lolDynamis when they first started out.

Saturday I got 73 and 74 on WHM. 73 in a morning party and 74 in a evening party. I'll try to get 75 sometime in the next few days and after that merit a few to cap some of the jobs I left unfinished. Next job I'll level is either PLD or RDM.

Thursday WHM 71, Assault, and Sky farming.

On Thursday morning party I got an invite for my WHM pretty easily and quickly. I was still setting up my comment when I got a /tell for a party. It was a half Japanese, half NA party and it was a nice. I think we got 44k in 3 hours (really 2.5 hours w/o downtime) but we mostly did that well because we had a nice puller, tank, and the sam (ldr of the party) who was dual boxing. He had his other toon which was a WHM help with the cures/haste. Overall the day started off nice.

Assault was after the partying, and Galaika pass out again or something because we couldn't get him to respond. So we did Nyzul farming for boots and we did not get the boots to drop, and we only did one tag for Nyzul because Baja got a call to come kill Tiamat. The other two tags we decided then to use on pass missions Myrrh needed. It also turned out another ls got Tiamat from Kaizen so Baja rejoined us for the tags.

Sky was after Assault and it was farming since we were low on people for Kirin. Our roster is full of hard working people in real life so its hard getting people together on Thursdays. Farming didn't go so well either with us camping at Despot all night with him not popping again. I swear he only pops when I don't attend! Friday is Dynamis, and I'll try to get 72 on WHM which is 4k away tomorrow and 73 over the weekend.

Tuesday WHM 70 and Sky farming, Wednesday Minis

Tuesday I got WHM to 70 from a morning pt. After the leveling I took a break before Sky farming later that day. At sky we just popped Ulli x2, Olla x2, and BB x1 for minis on Wednesday. After that I seeked for a night pt and a 1hour pt so it was nothing special, after that I logged for the night.

Wednesday I got a party with a few people I've partied before during my mid 60s and got 10k. The party ended after an hour because there was no refresh on, but still exp is exp. Sky later that evening was slow with people dcing and gathering. But we did Genbu x2, Seiryu, and Byakko. We were supposed to do another Seiryu, Suzaku, and Byakko but we ran out of time and also missing a few people that had the pop item. Tomorrow we will try for Kirin, but before I have Assault as usually.

Saturday WHM 68, Sunday WHM 69, and Monday Assault

Over the weekend I got 2 levels for my WHM. However, since it was the weekend all the camping spots were pretty crowded and it took awhile finding a pick up party. But despite that I got 68 on Saturday and 69 on Sunday. I could have tried for 70, but I got tired from all of the seeking I did over the weekend. I'll try to get 70 on Monday since my goal is to get WHM to 73 by the end of the week.

Monday was Assault and we did 3 tags of FL missions. All of FL missions are much harder then the previous missions, but the challenge of it is whats so fun about them. The first tag we tried "The Price Is Right," the mission we wiped on last Thursday because we were only 5 people. This time though we won with everyone in the static showing up, but we barely won with Skaw as the only melee left standing since Nyo and I died to a tier III -ga. The next tag we tired "The Susanoo Shuffle," but we wiped on this one around 8% or so. The NM was a Hydra type mob, but is a weaker version of the real one. I died like 3 times on this one mission because he has a phase were he moves about uses only tail attacks, but if you TP him or attack from behind during this phase he will do a flail type attack. Next time though we will win since we got a feel of what we did wrong, and what we can do to improve next time. The last tag we did "Bloody Rondo," in this mission we fight Count Dracula! This fight was easy, and it seemed the easiest of the FL missions so far. Thursday I guess we will try to finish off the FL missions, or do some past missions. Tomorrow is Sky farming and Wednesday is minis.

Thursday WHM 67, Assault, Sky Farming and Friday Dynamis

Thursday I got WHM to 67 pretty easily, I wanted to continue to get 68 but I had Assault and Sky so I had to stop leveling. Assault we just did past missions people needed, but with one tag we did try a FL mission but failed without Myrrh (WHM). After assault was Sky farming, but it was like the last farming I attended with nothing gained for us. Next week we plan to pop some minis and do Kirin.

Friday was my first run with a new Dynamis LS. They are all a bunch of experienced FFXI players that formed to farm for coins for relic upgrades. The run was nice and smooth at the start, but during the end we died a bit more because some of our BLMs left toward the end. I personally died twice, but its nothing compared to the BLMs. Still lots of AF2 dropped during the run (war x2, nin, pld, smn, whm x2, brd, rng) in my experience Sandy is usually average on drops but that night we got tons. I got one of the WAR AF2 and the NIN AF2 that night so I was pretty happy at the end. I'm getting closer to completing some goals of mine. Over the weekend I'll try and level WHM some.

Tuesday WHM 63 and 64, Wednesday 65 and 66

The last few days I've been lucky enough to get lots of good pts. I've leveled faster to 65 then I thought I could, and I'm currently level 66 for WHM. My goal was to get level 65 for WHM, but at this pace I can do level 68. So my goal is to get 68 by the end of the weekend I hope, and by the end of next week 73. After getting 75 for WHM, I'll start on PLD next and maybe merit more again, or maybe start to level COR.

Sunday WHM to 62, Monday Assault

Sunday morning I got a party pretty quickly on my WHM. I thought I was going to get 62 for sure that morning because I was only 10k tnl. However, I did not level in that party because the party sucked. Not just sucked, but was unbelievably bad! We only got 4.5k with exp ring in 2hours... I mean one guy stopped the pt for 25mins just so he could change his sub to /sam to see what kind of dmg he could do. The ldr was also so undecisive because during that 25mins we did not do anything. We could have fought easily with 5 people, but instead we did nothing. Our tank, a Japanese player was probably pissed with how slow the pt was too because he afked and never came back. I couldn't blame the guy though because I was tempted to fake dc from the party, but we just disbanded after waiting for 20mins for the tank to come back.

In the late afternoon I got another party invite and got my level 62 pretty quickly. This party was much better then the last, but it was short because the ldr and his friend needed do real life stuff. We did get 12k though in 1.5 hours which is pretty good. I only wish I got more good pts, then crappy ones. However, ever since SE lowered the exp total gained in order to level from the level ranges of 60-75, the crap players have been able to get into the higher level ranges much easier. And there are a shit load of crappy players out there which just makes me cry. Anyways, I hope to get 65 by the end of the week, but know the crappy players out there it will probably be only 63.

Monday's Assault we did repeats because since the update we found you need to complete all the assault missions to get the rank of Captin. So we will be doing past missions to get our rank, I myself need 3 past missions and the FL missions to get my Captin rank.

Friday WHM to 59, Saturday WHM to 61

I got WHM to 59 on Friday in a pretty good pt. The puller was a brd and he was pulling like it was a merit pt, but I still got level 59 in a pretty quick fashion. I would have gotten 60 too but the pt didn't stay for my 2k tnl and we got some downtime when the brd died. I tired getting a pt at night but it got late while waiting for a pick up pt so I logged to sleep.

Saturday I woke up early to try and get a morning pt and I got a invite to a Japanese pt. It was a slow pt with a pld tank and a slow puller, but I still got 60 and half way to 61.

After the pt I went to finish my last 2 AF pieces. I got my bell for the body piece on my second kill pretty easily, now I just need to find some help for the NM fight. After getting the bell I went to Beadeaux for a coffer key for my old gantlets. The key dropped easily too and so I went back to Jeuno and flagged the quest and changed back to WHM to open the coffer. Once I got the key item, I went to kill the NM bomb for my AF hands. I'm pretty much done with WHM AF I just need to find help for the body piece.

At night after doing those AF quests I deicded to seek and try for level 61. After awhile of seeking I got a night pt and got level 61. The pt wasn't special, but it got me my level so thats all that counts. Tomorrow I'll try for level 62.

Same Stuff, Leveling WHM

Monday was Assault, Galakia was there so we did SL missions again for him to finish it up. I finished the FL promotion quest before Assault. I need the 5 FL missions and 3 past missions to get the rank Captin, I'm guessing that's the final rank but I'm not sure.

Tuesday was Sky farming, but like last week we got nothing. I hope next farming we do better and get some pop items. But seeing as this is our last Kirin set because the other two Genbu seals are currently with inactive members, we will be farming for a few weeks. Before sky thought I got a nice party and got 2 levels to 56.

Wednesday was Kirin, and this Kirin was a bit slower to kill then the last Kirins we had. But we did only have 20 people, 19 really since Drac was dual boxing. My kiting was also sloppy that day, but I was worried about the low numbers so I ran further away then I should have to stay alive longer. I usually just do that to avoid his special attacks then run back for a voke, but this time I ran too far and lose hate. We did eventually kill him but the drops kinda sucked with a D.body and pole. This was mainly because we did not have a THF in the alliance, we killed him too fast before the THF to enter the alliance. Thursday is farming in sky, rest of the week trying to get WHM to 60. SMN to 37 and WHM to 54

I was leveling on SMN and WHM on Friday and the weekend. Friday I finished off SMN as a sub for WHM by gaining 4 levels. I would like to try and get SMN to 75 later on, but I'm stopping at 37 until I get WHM to 75. Over the weekend I got 3 levels on WHM to 54. I've also started hunting for coffer keys and they dropped easy. I think they changed the drop rate, or I was just extremely lucky. This week I'll try to level WHM more and get 60 by the end of the week.

Tuesday Farming, Wednesday Kirin x2, Thursday Assault SL Missions and Kirin

Tuesday was Sky farming as usual and our focus that night was on Despot and Zippy. While the main alliance was were trying to pop Despot, Scwall was scanning for Zippy. We spent most of the night at Despot until Scwall spotted Zippy on wide scan and we ran over there to kill it. With new recruits that joined us that night we had more then enough to take it out. However, when we did kill Zippy we made a mistake and lost the stone. After the disappointing lose of the stone we ahead back to Despot to finish off the night, but he did not pop so we ended it there. Later that night I got a pt invite for my SMN and got two levels to level 30.

Wednesday was Kirin night, but before that I got a early morning pt for my SMN and got a level to level 31. I wish people would stop fake disconnecting because I could have got level 32, but we wasted most of the time looking for replacements. Anyways at sky we did Kirin x2 and the turnout was nice. With the new update on 2handed weapons the Kirins we do are around 40-50 mins now. The first Kirin dropped Osode for Khajit and D.body for Mdk, and the second Kirin dropped W.legs for Caaeia.

Thursday started off with a pt for my SMN, I got 2 levels to level 33 in 1 hours and 30 mins, which is very good considering the level range and it being a pick up party. I wished I could have stayed for another level but Assault was coming up so I had to replace myself. Assault this time was finishing up SL missions, but Galaika was no where to be found and he didn't message us to say he couldn't come so we waited a bit, but when 30mins passed we went without him to finish the last 3 SL missions. After Assault was Kirin, but this time only one because it was getting late while waiting for people to gather for Kirin. The drops were Osode for Mdk (Gala passed to him) and S.cloth x2.

Over the weekend I may take a break and see my brother and baby niece, but knowing me I'll level with SMN because it has got me hooked recently. Pictures later.

100th Post!

Yep, this is post 100 for this blog and unfortunately its a boring one! Sorry it can't be something exciting like I soloed DL or Jorm, but you work with what you got.

However, I did finish ToAU off on Saturday! I did the missions with Hach's group again. It took awhile but we finished it! We fail few times on mission 42, we were like 1/5 and on mission 44 we were 1/2. It was fun overall and I got some nice pictures from the CSs of the missions. I'm trying to decide which to post up. At night I leveled SMN from 22 to 24 and also did some mini avatars. Leveling at these low levels is always a pain, well its more of a pain now because people don't level around these levels anymore.

On Sunday I leveled SMN from 24 to 26 and tried to do Einherjar. Noon time on Sunday was suppose to be Einherjar but we did not meet the required number of people to go so it was canceled again. I hoped to try it at least once now with the update, but it was not to be. Next Sunday for sure we will be going, or I hope at least.

So anyways over the weekend was leveling SMN casually. If I was my old self I would have leveled from 22 to 34, but I decided to just get 2 levels a day so by the end of Sunday I was 26. Today though Monday I got 3 levels on SMN in a morning pt. I was originally only going to do 2 levels but the pt was decent and that is rare now a days in a pick up pt. The pt also provided me with an opportunity to DD more than healing so my summoning skill is capped for now. I'll try to get another level tonight and stop at 30 so I can complete my avatar mini quests.

After leveling SMN was Assault, but with it being a holiday it took awhile for us to gather. The first tag was Wake the Puppet a SL mission. Basically you escort automatons from rooms all over the map back to the starting NPC. We failed it the first time for some reason, probably because one of the automatons died. The second tag we tried again and we won because this time we didn't split up and went to each room as a group to keep the automatons alive. Third tag was Red Versus Blue and we won that one barely, but we did have 6 people this time so we killed the guy much faster. Gala and Nyo called it a night so Skaw, Baj, Myrr and me did Azure Experiments for the last tag, but the ??? ring didn't drop for us again. Tomorrow is Sky and leveling of SMN if I can get a morning pt.
