Wednesday's Action!

Well to tell you the true Wednesday didn't have that much action, but I was excited because we finally did ToAU missions. The BC for ToAU mission 23 was easy, fun though and I loved the cut scene. We also decided to do Assault trying to get LC for Rim and I. However, because of Rimmy's connection issues we wiped on the first Assault mission. It was a long wait before the start of the mission because he had tried to fix it before we entered, and everyone was on a tight schedule after the wipe they called it. I was depressed about that because we didn't do Assault again, next time I hope we get it done. After the static was Limbus, 14 people showed up and we hit Eastern Tower. We fought elements and avatars. I got 3 coins out of it the run putting the total at 22 coins. Not sure if I want to use it for MNK AF +1 gloves or save for my brutal earring. Today is Kirin and maybe a mini or two. Friday is Dynamis with Limitless we are doing San d'Oria I believe, and since it will be my 3rd run I can lot a 100c. Sea on Monday

Monday was sea farming/jailers. It was mostly running around the place, no wonder people say its hell since we spent hours running around trying to pop Jailer of Temprence which we never got to kill. But before Jailer of Temprence we killed Jailer of Fortitude first. Jailer of Fortitude was a long kill, mostly magic and range attack did all of the damage since meleeing it did 0-2 damage per swing. When we finally killed it, first virtue and the great axe droped. Foritude was the only Jailer kill we had because Temprence didn't pop after 5 attempts. We did get some pop items along the way to Jailer of Temprence though but thats all. Tuesday is a free day, probably just level DRK and Wednesday is hopefully ToAU and Assault, then Limbus.

Holiday Week

Nothing much this week, probably because it was a holiday week with Thanksgiving here in the US. Tuesday I just leveled my DRK from 20 to 21, then I logged for the day. Wednesday I left for home and when I logged I leveled my DRK from 21 to 24, then we had Limbus Western Temenos. My first time in Temenos Tower, I got materials for WAR and RDM AF +1, and 3 coins. My total coin count is now at 16. Thursday was nothing since it was Thanksgiving! Friday was a unoffical run in Dynamis, no AF or 100cc droped. Saturday was Sky farming, we got Fuast and SC and after farming I leveled from 24 to 26... mostly soloed it. Today, Sunday is CoP static! I'll report more later on what CoP was like and with some pictures of it.

Hello, a little edit on what I did on Sunday night. Instead of CoP static, I did Limbus. I believe some people couldn't show up so we skipped it for tonight and I did limbus with the ls. We did Northern Temeons Tower and I got a complete MNK AF +1 set! I have a total of 16 coins + 3 more coins I got from tonight's run and my total is at 19; one more coin and I'll have 20 for my MNK AF +1 gloves. However, I'm not sure if I will get my gloves right now, I'm thinking of saving until I get 75 coins to get a brutal earring. Anyways pictures! I'll caught you all later.

Sea Farming

Today was my first time doing sea farming/jailers with the LS. Some people were their early farming for pop items and when I arrived I helped out. It was just like sky farming, kill stuff and hope for an item to drop.

When more people log out on and gathered, officers decided to pop Jailer of Justice because the turn out was good. When it started, all went well with ninjas tanking it and us melee beating it down. However, I started to see why this was a tier 2 Jailer, he started to spawn little squids several times. It wasn't long until there were like 5 or so, apparently the blms were suppose to kill them off. However, the blms were dead, I believe from a mistarget. After the blms died the main alliance started to crumble. When everyone died it was left with 9%. I believe things would have been better if blms lived longer, and if the charmed people in the main alliance were slept quicker.

After, the wipe at Jailer of Justice, we decided to pop Ix'Aern (MNK) x2. Those two fights went smoother because the LS killed them before. The cape didn't drop on either of the fights, but the deed did on both. After Ix'Aern (MNK), sea farming was called for the night. Tomorrow is a free day so I'll probably work on DRK, until next post everyone. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Another Week of Laziness!

I forgot to update again, and when I do that I usually forget what I did... But I'll try to remember what I did on each of the days.

Anyways starting from 11-14-06 which was a Tuesday, nothing happened just HNM camping. I think we did Behemoth and Aspldochelone. However we didn't get claim on either. Wednesday started out nice, I finally caught hold of Silfer to ask if he could make me a pair of Unicorn leggings, he agreed and I logged on my mule in Windy and he on Chuu. We hope for a +1, but we ended with a NQ; at least no break! After that I wait for Assault and ToAU static, however, we didn't go again. Thats like 3 weeks of missed Assault and ToAU missions. After the no show I was depressed so I just logged for a bit before limbus. When I logged back on I hoped for a good turnout because I wanted to do something today, but I didn't have to worry because it was a good turnout. We did I believe SW, and we got a total of 2 coins each, my count is 13 total now.

Thursday we did Kirin, but first we killed Byakko. This Kirin was more dangerous than the last Kirin we TP burned. This time he keep sleeping us and in doing so got a few of the melees killed several times. Killing Kirin lasted 15mins, and popping all mini was like 30mins so 45mins total. Next time poison pots, bring them!

Friday was Dynamis with Limitless, it was Jeuno so it went by fast. They kill so fast in fact that we had like 2 hours of farming time left. It was a fun night overall, but the only depressing thing was that MNK AF2 gloves dropped. No one wanted them or was lotting for them so Kisada ask if anyone wanted them, I was too slow and it auto-dropped. That depressed me, but I lived this long without them, and I'm sure I will get one sooner or later.

Saturday was sky farming, we killed BB two times, and thats when we decided to kill Seiryu two times because we had a good sky farming turnout and we had the pop sets with us. The first Seriyu droped 2 a.legs, and the second Seriyu drop s.kote. After the Seriyu(s) Faust popped! Javir tried to solo, but died! So we ran over there and killed him. We now have a Suzaku x2 and Seriyu x1 pop sets. After farming, it was the Bahamnut BC fight, the quest known as "Storms of Fate." The BC is easy, the first group killed it and we weren't expecting much danger this run. The hardest part was gather the people, but when we got them we headed over the kill him and did in 12 mins or so. Congratulations guys!

Today, Sunday I didn't play much in the morning or afternoon. I feel bad because I was to help with a swift belt with friends, but my brother needed help with painting of the baby's room so I couldn't go. But I heard they went 5/5 so Congratulations Enz, Chan, Rece, Javir and Kyr(correction)! I also missed Limbus, but when I logged on it looked like members were happy so it must have went well. Right now, I'm doing Assault with Enz, Rig, Wyle, Rim and Soul. Pictures to come later.

Server Maintenance, HNM camping, KS30, sky farming

Yesterday there was a server maintenance from 9am to 5pm PST, and we all know when there is a maintenance its a rush to to logout in HNM and NM spots so when the maintenance ends we will be there ready for claim. However, when I got online around 5:30pm PST I saw that Fafnir already popped and Kaizen got it. I heard a N.head droped. After Fafnir, we headed to Valley of Sorrow for turtle. And after I think 4 windows, JDA got claim in the 2nd to last window. Since all kings popped, the rest of the night was free and Enz gave me a /tell asking if I wanted to do a BS run or KS run. I said yes and he decided to do a KS30 named Contaminated Colosseum.

When everyone was ready and geared up, we gathered at Horlais Peak for the fight. Contaminated Colosseum is the KS30 where you fight a Morbol NM named Evil Oscar, and he has a special attack that does an Instant Death AoE. The fight though was easy with our setup, Pauge as SMN, Fizzy as SMN, Asmo as BLM, Enz as WHM, Priest as DRK, and me as NIN. Pau, Fizzy, and Asmo killed it pretty fast during all the runs; our fastest time was 6mins, 11seconds. I died a total of 5-6 times... good thing Enz was on WHM! I was pretty useless, I basically was calling when his special attack was about to hit. It was easy to tell because Evil Oscar warns you 3 times before doing the AoE. All in all it was a good run, 4/4 on Morbolger Vine, making me wonder why people bother camping the regular NM for it. After the KS30 we decided to do some bonus sky farming and headed there.

Pau, Preist, and Enz went ahead to Ulli, and I decided to turn in my brown belt items first and Javir was still gathering gear. By the time Javir and I reached Ulli it had already popped and was claimed by a Japanese LS. They pretty muched owned it, so we decided to camp for SC. A strange thing happened though, as Pau pulled a detector from the basement, SC popped from it. We were all suprised and started to feel lucky. It was a fun fight because Enz was checking for a Curtana, so we were fighting with four for alittle bit. When Enz finally got there it was about half way dead. The fight was pretty easy, after the stone droped we escaped and headed to water. Again something strange happened... water droped from the first pot we killed. It was right then we knew it was a lucky night. After killing a few more pots we decided to pop Olla, the fight was fun, and much easier than I thought. After we killed Olla, we continued farming for water. After 30mins or so Enz says he needs to go soon and as luck would have it another water droped. We decided to kill Olla again and once we finished off the second Olla before we all log of the night we headed for Faust so Javir and Enz could duo it. However Faust wasn't up and we all decided to log for the night. It turned into a nice day, finally completed my brown belt quest, got some gil, and got some points and sky pop items. I'll add pictures later, right now I'm going to sleep.

Saturday and Sunday

Saturday was Behemoth in the late morning/afternoon, some CK however camped Ulli early morning but it was claimed by RMTers. I didn't come to either though because I had something to do. However when I did get back on, I found out we didn't get Behemoth because it popped early and some CKers decided to go back to sky to farm some more. So I went to join them and we began with camping Ulli. But in the end it was claimed by RMTers again, however, luck was on our side because they lost claimed and Eulore took it from them. Its been awhile since we got a Ulli, and it was sweet because we took it from RMTers. When we finished Ulli off, we saw MG popped on WS, and headed over there to kill her. Once MG was dead that ended sky farming. So far we have I believe x3 seiryu and x1 byakko sets.

Sunday we again camped Behemoth in the morning to afternoon, I joined around the 2nd or 3rd window. King Behemoth popped in the last window, but we didn't get claim, it was Element (Purpose) who got it first, and then someone else got it (*correction*dont know who got it). After that I hurried to Safehold for the swift belt run Javir planned.

When I arrived to safehold I quickly changed jobs because I was one a tight schedule again this week. This week's run went much better then last week's swift belt run. We went 3/5 this time and the lucky people were Amenti, Sappy and I to get swift belts. Javir and Enz however didn't get the drop and Chan and Rece didn't get to pop the NMs. However, we decided that another run for Javir, Chan, Rece and Enz was needed for next Sunday. I believe Nyy wants to join too so we may add one more to the list of people who want swift belts. After swift belt run, Javir and I were late for CoP with ls static, so we set off to gear up/mule/job changes for the Tenzen fight. The Tenzen BC is kinda like snoll, but abit harder because he WSs alot! We failed the first try because he Ranged WS me for 1391... I was on ninja, and I believe we also didn't do enough damage fast enough. The second try I was on monk and we killed him. I was worried though because I was again hit with the Ranged WS this time for 1593 or something and was left with only 64 HP! Lucky though Khali got hate and I was cured in time. After the Tenzen fight we did 8-1 easily and I welcomed friends and fellow LS mates to sea! Next Sunday for CoP static is 8-2, but before that its swift belt run. Camping, Kirin, Camping, and LATE NIGHT BCNMing

Thursday I went home for the weekend because I have to attend some family events. But it was a busy day in FFXI land. Started off with King Behemoth camping, but the big guy didn't pop just Behemoth in the last window and we didn't get claim. Maybe next time we will get him, it was nice though because at least RMT didn't grab him. After Behemoth camping, it was to Kirin.

It took some time setting up for Kirin, more time than the fight really. However, its mostly because members were still gathering to Kirin and we were going to kite Kirin until he summoned minis, and then TP burn him. When we were finally set, we popped him and started to kite him. It took a total of 25mins for him to summon all the minis. After the summoning, melees were added to tank party and we processed to burn him down. It was fun, and it was working! Around 70% he 2hr, 2 people died but the rest lived. During that part I thought we wiped but we lived! We killed him in 5mins. The drops though were all money drops, s.cloth and o.ingot. After Kirin nothing was planned, but members wanted to camp for Aspidochelone so we headed down to Valley of Sorrow because the window was open.

We didn't know when the window would open or close, but because of where the big turtle spawns, it was easy to get an estimate of when the window would open or close. We camped it for 2 or 3 windows and in the 3 window it popped, and again we didn't get claim. We got TOD though, so maybe on Friday we will camp it again. When the camping was over I was finally free to do some BCNM with friends.

We did "Under Observation" for PCC, I did 4 runs with 2 other ls mates from CK (Enz and Javir) the big money we got was from Ni, around 400k currently. Enz left after the 4th, and my friend from my social ls came (Deathdealer). We did 3 runs and again the big money we got was from Ni. It was getting late so we called it quits, but only for now. I'm planning next Thursday to do another PCC run, I want BIG money! No pictures in this post, well no pictures from Fraps because I dont have it on this computer. I'll report back later maybe on Saturday or Sunday, if not I'll do a post on Monday, anyways enjoy the weekend people.

Limbus

Yesterday nothing much happened. We camped Fafnir real early, but it was claimed by JDA during the second window. After that I took a break, we were suppose to do ToAU missions and Assault, however, Eulore overslept so it was canceled again. So I took a break again to wait for limbus later that night.

Limbus started late because on Sun they did it late, we entered around 8pm PST. We entered SE with... I believe 15 people, and got a total of 50 coins so about 3 coins each. I now have a total of 11 coins, and half of a monk set. Materials that droped that night were bstx2, mnk, rng, whm, and blm. Today we have KB around 2pm PST, then after Kirin. I have to leave for home later so I'll update when I can, until then later.

Final Cutscenes, Rajas Ring, and Updates to Come

When I came back online today around noon I decided to start the final cutscenes before Fafnir camping. I won't post the pictures now because some viewers may not have finished CoP yet, so I'll stall alittle for them as a warning to not view this post if you don't want to be spoiled. Anyways, I'll do a little summary, basically it was just going through all the farewells to all the NPCs that helped in CoP. I enjoyed them all because they hit you right in the heart, all so emotional... But I'm sure most would say "So what! what did you get out of it!" Well, in the end you get a niffy ring which is nice to have for your future gaming adventures, but I'm more of a storyline kind of gamer. Thats basically what I did so far today, like I said I'll add pictures later.

Now as for updates, I added more words to my profile because I was bored. Future posts I like to make are, my new Chocobo I'm trying to raise and my old Chocobo HarmonyBlue which I retired her... made me sad. Her stats weren't that great but I love her, I'm keeping her in hopes to breed with other Chocobos I'm going to raise to make a family! Alright, thats all for now, edit with pictures later.

CoP COMPLETE!

Monday I completed CoP by beating 8-3 and 8-4 with my static from qcdn. It was a long and tiring night, but finally we got it done! Tomorrow I'll finish off CSs and get my ring. I must say it was fun while it lasted. NOW, the pictures! Enjoy.

Week Without Updates

Well I was really lazy because I haven't updated for a week. I'll try to summary what I did during each day, however, I can't recall much because I was pretty down/bored that week. Anyways I'll go through the days, and last post was about Sun and Mon, I'll start from last Tuesday to Today. Also I'm on my labtop so I'll add pictures later.

Tuesday, nothing much happened. This was when the depression started because Rimmy didn't show for Assault/ToAU missions. Instead of missions and new Assault stuff, we farmed for points. After that I started to level my Drk to end the day.

Wednesday, was limbus but until then I continued leveling my Drk. When limbus time hit I gathered to Jeuno Port, but the turnout was low and later Soul said we weren't going because of the low turnout and because later that night would be camping Fafnir. I was pretty depressed so I took a break until Fafnir, and when it started in the end we didnt get claim. After camping Enz lucky asked if anyone wanted to do limbus. We gathered at Port and took off. We did limbus with 5 people, was 6 but we enaged before Nightsbane joined in... our fault. The night ended well though. A total of 18 coins droped, I got 4 and also a Monk material droped so I also got that.

Thursday, we were orginally going to do Jorm, but decided to sky farm and Fafnir... But the sky farming didn't happen so it was just Fafnir. We didn't get claim again. Ended the night leveling Drk solo.

Friday, was Fafnir again. So I didn't play, just solo Drk alittle. Later the night we camped Fafnir, but we didn't get claim again.

Saturday was sky farming, however, I had a real life matter to attend to so I missed most of the farming. Later on though at the end of farming I got back home and I joined in on the farming. Ulli was claimed by RMT, but Faust and MG popped so we started to head to MG to kill it. When we finished off MG though, Faust was claimed by another LS. We ened up only getting one NM. Later that day was Fafnir again, I think it was that day that Nidhogg popped, but we didn't get claim. After that camping it was DM event, but I was to tired to help out, however I believe they won with 27 secs left on the timer.

Sunday was CoP with ls static. Until I just farmed for chips for my CCB pump for the Airship battle. It took 4 hours to get all three chips, but it was right on time for the static to start. However, Ninya didn't show up, so we started to wait. After a hour or so, Typhus went into CK and asked the ls if anyone needed 6-4. Luckly Javir did, but he was camping Fafnir, so we waited awhile more. But when Fafnir was dead (we didn't get claim) Javir started to mule and head on over. I believe that was when Typhus decided to drop Ninya from the static... which was pretty sad but we can't get anywhere if he kept on doing that. When Javir finally arrived we explained the plan again to him and reviewed for us, then entered the BC. It went smoother than the last attempt, we ended up beating the Airship in 27mins and 15secs. Good job team Fubar! And welcome Javir, sorry Ninya... Tomorrow is CoP with qcdn group. I'll see you all later!

CoP Days

Sunday was a swift belt run and CoP static with ls mates. Both didn't go very well, but it was a fun try with both. The swiftbelt ran smoothly, just IT DIDN'T DROP! 0/6... Was fun though because we got to party with old CK people, Amenti and Sappy.

After the swift belt run it was time for my CoP static with ls mates. Like I said before it didn't go too well, but still a fun try. I believe the reason was because of me, I was a pld that time and hate was all over the place. I think nin would be better for it. We will see next time.

Monday was CoP with my qcdn group. We finished 8-2 which took 3 HOURS AND 45 MINS! God that was such a pain... I got 3k of limit points though because of it and almost to a 3rd merit. Next Monday I hope to finish CoP so I can do sea with my LS which is during the same time as this static. Tomorrow is Assault/ToAU missions, can't wait!

Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Thursday was Jorm, but my *&@(!$ connection was down from 4pm PST to like 2pm PST the next day. I was pissed because I heard they got it down to 10%, and would have gotten it but a mistake happened which caused the loss. It was still a good try, I mean 10%, just alittle longer and they would have had it.

Friday because my connection just got back on at 2pm PST I didn't do much. In fact I don't remember what I did because I was still pissed I missed Jorm.

Anyways Saturday was farming day in sky and we spent the whole time there at Ulli. And the bastard didn't pop... the same kind of bull shit we are used to, sometimes I think SE just hates us... Right now my Black Mage is at 35, almost to 36. I don't think I'll be leveling it to 75, just doesn't feel like a job for me. I'll try Red Mage, but I'm pretty sure I'll level that to 75 because I like to solo factor of the Red Mage. I may however level it to 60 just for the AF! Tomorrow is Swift belt run, and CoP static with ls mates, I'll report back later.

ToAU Missions and Assault

Tuesday was ToAU missions and Assault with my static. We started off with doing ToAU missions, we first killed the fomor NM on 'Lost Kingdom' mission, then did a CS before doing the first BC fight in the ToAU missions. We had to wait for Eulore though because he had Limbus. This is a picture of the CS during 'Lost Kingdom' mission.

When Eulore got back, we did the BC fight. It was easy, and the CS was nice. Soul was the only one that got killed... he got one shoted by the NM boss! This is a picture of the CS after we beat the BC.

After the BC we were done with the missions for ToAU for today, and decided to start on doing Assault missions. We did four Assault runs again, all SP level so Rim and I can get the promotion quest for LC. The missions were fun, most involved killing stuff so I enjoyed it! We won three, but the last run we ran out of time... Next Tuesday we will get it and finish off SP. Tomorrow is Limbus, I hope to join in for my first run!

CoP Night!

Monday was CoP night. But until then I decided to start on leveling lower level jobs since I capped Warrior group 1 in merits. The sub jobs I'm going to work on are: blm, drk, and sam to 37 hopefully in 2-3 weeks. It was a slow day though because we had a server restart on Monday so not many low level people looking for a party. So instead of seeking I decided to afk until CoP static started.

At 6:30pm PST everyone gathered and I was excited because when we beat this BC we would have access to sea and limbus! Since we did all of the BC so far 1/1 I didn't expect any worries. However, we lost our first try... it wasn't so bad though because even though we lost, we lost because when we started the fight about 20secs into it the tarus sleepga2 everyone including our whm. It was until dragod(black mage) and me(monk) were dead did we figure out our white mage was still slept... we were so close too, he was like at 20% before he did his WS that throws you out. Anyways the second time we did it we won, and finally sea access! The cut was long but very cool! After the CSs we started on 8-1, and after that we wanted to start on 8-2 but the mission is long so we decided to wait until next week to do it. Anyways I have sea and limbus! Tuesday I have assault/toau static and Wednesday I would like to try Limbus! I'll post lots of pictures later.

Quiet Weekend

Friday and the weekend were quiet days for FFXI. Friday nothing much happened. I mostly tried to get a merit party, but ended up quiting for the day and watching TV.

Saturday I didn't play much either had RL stuff to do, but I heard we skipped sky farming to camp Fafnir, didnt get claim. I did however merit with some ls mates while camping Ulli when I logged back in for the tonight. I got a merit out of it, but Ulli didn't pop.

Sunday again was RL stuff for me so I didn't play much. I did however quickly logged in to kill Snoll for my ls CoP static. Next Sun is Airship for them!

After the RL stuff I had to do, I logged back in for a late night merit party because I'm only 1 merit away from getting Warrior group 1 capped. Got a party and earned 2 merits out of it putting my total at 175 merits and Warrior group 1 is capped! Now I'm going to level some sub jobs. Monday is hopefully 7-5 Tenzen fight, if I beat that I'm on chapter 8!

HNM kills and Merits

Hello! Wednesday and Thursday were fun days for HNM camping. Wednesday we camped Fafnir again right after the restart because of the update of the servers. We missed claim but the ls that got Fafnir claimed flies as well so they called for help and escaped/wiped. We waited for Fafnir to turn white, and when he did we got him. When we finished him an E.hand and Talon droped. It was fun because I got to tank it! Pictures to come later. After the Fafnir kill I seeked and finished the night in a merit party, I got 1 merit out of it.

Thursday, we were to kill Jorm, but because of the restart he wasn't up. So we tried Fafnir again, but I didn't get to camp it because I was driving home. I heard he poped first window. Behemoth was next, so I came running down there. I saw him appear on my radar and I should have claimed him! But my stuipd butter fingers pressed F8 and my voke macro at the same time doing nothing... So I left a 2 second delay for someone else to get him.

After Behemoth we went to Valley for Sorrow for the turtle. Again I saw him pop but I was recasting sneak... but luckly Nomar was there and he provoked first, a second later I pulled him in. It was the NQ so we killed it fast. Not a bad couple of days for HNM camping, still no black belt items though for me, hopefully soon. After the HNM camping I did some merit with ls mates and got 2 merits! 3 more until I cap Warrior Group 1 and start on leveling my sub jobs for my next job to 75.

1 Merit! and Assault

I finally got a merit party! Been a few days... like 5 since I got one. I need now 6 more merits to finally finish Warrior Group 1, and then after start working on some sub jobs. I'm still trying to decide on which job to level to 75 next. I'm either going to do rdm or blm.

Yesterday was Assault night. We did two missions to finish off PFC so Rim and me could do the promotion quest to get SP (Superior Private). The other two missions we did were repeats to build on assault points to get items we wanted. After that I went to finish my promotion, so I went off looking for the 'Dark Rider's footprint'. Took awhile but I found it in Mount Zhayolm. Here are some pictures.
